Can someone please help me with finding the solution for a pendulum. This is for Algebra 2 on FLVS. I have no clue.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, what is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(BTW, don't take pre-calc honors on flvs... soooooooo hard!)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{ 1.5 }{ 32 }}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dont worry i wont :) Thanks for the advice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are more its for an activity or whatever. But if i get help with this one i could probably do the rest.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well basically since they already gave you what to solve for in it's formula you would begin by dividing 1.5 by 32, then squareroot it. tell me what you get from that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Also, it is a rather long decimal.. you can just include 5 of the numbers. no need to type them all out.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.04687

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 0.21650

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. now all you need to do is multiple that by pi(3.14) and two. Tell me what you get as a final answer. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.36034 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got a little bit of a difference(but it's because I only did *3.14, not by the pi button). but yeah, it's only like a .1 difference. Does your answer(rounded) show up as an answer choice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm, for what im doing its a project so there arnt choices. Its sorta like a real world solution type thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks so much thought for your help!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok. well it should be right, just remembere to include your work(I've noticed that if you just put an answer and it's rounded wrong then they will take off full points, but when you show work you're more inclined to get either most or all of your points).
