A recipe for 24 cookies calls for 6 tablespoons of sugar. If you make 36 cookies and use 10 tablespoons, will the cookies taste the same? Explain

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

24 cookies/6 tablespoons of sugar = 4 cookies/1 tablespoon of sugar so 1 tablespoon of sugar will help you make 4 cookies multiply each by 10 to get 10 tablespoons of sugar = 40 cookies Since you are making 36 cookies (but using the amount of sugar to make 40 cookies), this means that the cookies will taste sweeter since there is more sugar per cookie
