OpenStudy (hba):

Whats the equation ?

OpenStudy (hba):

@debbie_27 You there ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add them together 2 1/8 + 4 + 1 3/4 + 3 5/8 =? Then divide by the number of terms, in this case, divide by 4

OpenStudy (hba):

@Skaematik Whats the equation lol ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he's just asking for the average

OpenStudy (hba):

Looked similar to me but i do not understand why the word equation is being used ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(21/8 + 4 + 13/4 + 35/8) / 4 try solving now

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

@debbie_27 just add all the fractions and divided it by no. of total fractions.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

i.e (21/8+4/1+13/4+35/8)/4

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

you get nearest 1.24 as average

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

ok @debbie_27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 1/8, 4, 1 3/4, 3 5/8 Add them all up either by taking the denominator common or converting them into decimals. Then divide that sum by the number of elements you have, which I think 4.
