Round 34.999 to two decimal places.

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

if you need to round a number to 2 decimal places it means that you look at the third number and if it's <5 you just cut it off at the second number 34.99 but if it is > or = to 5 then you round it up which means that you change the second digit past the decimal to the next higher number in this case that would be a zero so you add the rest just like you were adding .01 to the number so you will get 35.00.

You know you'll either be keeping the nine or rounding up. take a look at where this number falls. |dw:1353604754555:dw|
