x^2+9x-22

hartnn (hartnn):

factor or solve for x ?

OpenStudy (hba):

@Raeee_009 Did you try to factor it ?

OpenStudy (hba):

@hartnn She wants to factor it :D

hartnn (hartnn):

so, find 2 numbers with product = -22 and sum = 9 can u ?

OpenStudy (hba):

She knows how to do it , lets wait for her to respond.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

erm i'm not sure, but i think its 2 and 18?

hartnn (hartnn):

22 is easy to factor, just product of 2 primes. 22= 2*.... ?

OpenStudy (hba):

@Raeee_009 Do you want to solve for x or factorize ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve it

OpenStudy (hba):

Oh ok so it maybe equal to 0 then ?

OpenStudy (hba):

@Raeee_009 Please show me your solution ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually hang on the question is to factorise the quadratics

OpenStudy (hba):

Ok so simplify it on your own and tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking 6+3=9 but then 6*3 doesn't = to 22 so its wrong im not sure
