If you're rounding then 14 is right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1 pound=16 ounces
16*14=?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yep to get the ounces
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Does it tell you to round answers?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Not if it doesnt tell you to.
So now start back
you will need a 13.5 pound turkey
16*13.5=216 ounces in 13.5 pounds
216/18=12 ounces per person

Price has nothing to do with how many pounds you need...
you need 1/2 pound per person. There are 18 people.
so do 1/2*18 and you get 9 pounds
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5.49 per person, 18 people
5.49*18
OpenStudy (anonymous):
How much would what cost?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Im not sure on that one. For #8 it already told you how much prime rib is per person
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I thought we agreed the turkey was 13.5 pounds
