Hi, I have tried to plot the I(t) vs q(t) curve Please find the attachment.. I have used the formula i=dq/dt in reverse order, i thing it will make some sense i.e. \[q(t)=\int\limits_{0}^{t}i(t) dt\] i(t) = -4U(t)+6U(t-2)+4U(t-4)-6U(t-6) q(t) = -4t+2(t-2)+4(t-4)-4(t-6) (I have calculated the q(t) piece wise). Here we can observe that the ‘q(t)’ curve was become unbounded when time increases this is because of the original i(t), periodic signal has more positive area than its negative area.
