A slice of cake is a complex carbohydrate. True False

I'm not sure I totally understand this question. Is the question trying to ask us whether or not the SUGAR inside of cake is a complex carbohydrate? The sugar that we use, to bake cake, is actually a simple carbohydrate. It's called "sucrose." It's a disaccharide. Disaccharides are carbohydrates that are made when two monosaccharides bond with one another.
