Trigonometry 6 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

determine whether u and v are orthogonal, parallel, or neither. U = -7, -1 V = 5, -14

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

perform the dot product between U and V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, I have the formula and know how to solve it but once you find the answer how do you determine whether its orthogonal parallet or neither?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

do you know how the angle between vectors appears in the dot product between them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the formula for the angle is u times v/ absolute value of u and v. do i use that formula first?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

|dw:1353773570433:dw| what would be the dot product between these two vectors?
