Question

I'm writing a childrens book for school about Chinese River Dolphins. I want to tell the children of some ways we can help them survive, or some ways that we can prevent species like them from being endangered. Any ideas? please and thank you.

Well.. since they are children and they cannot physically go out and save dolphins, tell them about donations that can help this species specifically?

Yes, that would be good. Maybe you should ask them to go on beaches and clean them when they see trash. Anything like that, that is simple, they'd love. :)

Well, according to a 2006 article these animals are extinct. Or have cross-bred with other animals and are not a pure dolphin breed anymore..

because i am a child...sorta....i can be your primary source.
Because kids like me dislike nonfiction books (most kids), maybe you could write an adventure book about two kids trying to help a chinese river dolphin they find when they are scuba- diving. They could help the dolphin, and do some research to try to save them. And that dolphin could be a famous dolphin, and when they try to tell someone to help, nobody helps because legends tell that that dolphin is dangerous. So the two kids have to take matters into their own hands...and then they do whatever they could to help them and then at last they helped the dolphin, and the dolphin leads them down to the ocean, where old pirate booty is hidden, and it tells the two kids to take it...and they become firneds...yeah.....include pics :)
