How would the products of transcription and translation be affected if the sequence GCTATATCG was changed to GCGATATCG?
This has something to do with Chargaff's rule I know.
Nooo not that haahaha
You have to like decode it. Into a different sequence
What about just doing a simple transcription and translation and see if the peptides gets the same?
Just give me a moment need to find my genetic code
This is can be solved alot more esay then useing Chargaff's rule from what I see
Correct And U is for RNA
ok..
Well the question is if you need to pair it but just replace the T's with U's becuase you need to pair it twice.. ones becuase of codeing and template string and one time for mRNA. in theory a 2x paring give the same results.
It is normal that we are given the coding string... so by doing a base pair to the template string we can do a transcription and get the following mRNA: |GCG|AUA|UCG| Translation: Ala, Ile, Ser. _____________________ mRNA: |GCU|AUA|UCG| Translation: Ala, Ile, Ser. as Nincompop said nothing would happen
yea..
nincompoop is right haha
Well i did not mind get that back into my memory :P haven't worked with genetics sense high school
lol its ok
