Draw a free body diagram. Always. Free body diagrams are key to pretty much all things force-related. That being said, you can set up Newton's 2nd Law with the gravitational, buoyant, and applied (the thing doing the measuring) forces. I don't want to just give everything away, but look for volume when solving for this, and try to remember what density is.
