for #11 just simplify both sides of the = sign. if you end up with a statement that is always true, then that's an identity.

for #10: \(\large -9=\frac{5}{17}n \) \(\large -9 \cdot \frac{17}{5}=\frac{5}{17}n \cdot \frac{17}{5} \) isolate the n.... = ????
