OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the same properties as an equation, the difference is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im confuse with this problem can u explain how too do this problem please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I know that you need a complete explanatio but there are people on this site sayimg that the students shouldn´t get complete answers I will anyway......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for helping me with this..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you subtract -3 both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i - 3 from 4x and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this way 4x + 3 - 3 < 35 -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you have 4x < 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x<32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah good then you dont need 4 there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

excellent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x<8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that means all the numbers before 8 ..................

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would you write x<8 in interval notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on equations the answer is one number on inequalities the answers are many numbers
