What are 3 main points/ideas i could write about for a persuasive essay on texting and driving

I do not remember exactly where I read this it (it was an article in a magazine) but it was talking about how texting and driving is equivalent if not worse then driving under the influence. The driver is so focused on what they are typing and reading that they do not pay attention to the road would be a good point to talk about.

how many die in accidents due to texting and driving. How those victims they hit while driving are caused serious if not fatal injuries just for being an innocent bystander or driver.

how texting can wait. Bring all the other things in your paper to explain why you should not text and drive.

If u are against it, then use...
1) too many crashes, and accidents
2) teens lose focus and are committed to the phones and not aware o who is around them.
3) Teens reaction speed is less than what it normally would be?

the statistics
how it can affect peoples lives
and how they dont realise wheret they are
