What is an estimate of the equation 6n+3=2? Use a table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help I really don't understand this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it is a first grade equation, try to find the value of "n"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do they mean by "an estimate" ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats why I'm confused I have no clue. I think the estimate value would be 0 but I'm not positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Use a table" ..... uhm Maybe they mean a number with 2 or 3 decimals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would'nt that be an approximate answer though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the answer you get is 0,16666666....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could be n = - 0,2 n = - 0, 17 n = - 0, 167 so on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, do you know how to make a table out of that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I never did something like that but I guess it colud be.....
