Can some one help me . So Confused A transformation T : (x, y) → (x + 3, y - 1). Find the preimage of the point (4, 3) under the given transformation.

From what you've given for the initial transformation, the inverse can be expressed as: \[T^{-1}: (x,y) \rightarrow (x-3,y+1)\] apply those operations to your x and y values and you'll arrive at the answer. Read another way, the original question could be: If three were added to an x value and you end up with 4, and one is taken from an y value to leave you with 3, what were the original values?
