hint : small mouth eats less; wide mouth eats more

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

replace mouth with angle above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait! It says <DBC = 65 degrees ? I mean, shouldn't it be 90. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could confirm your answer, by Seeing if they are congruent.. By the way, yes, you are correct ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then it would be CD is less than AD. But this doesn't make much sense at all. I mean, it's talking about lines... or whatev, but using angles. I am soo confused!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

right, CD < AD is correct. which is same as AD > CD

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

the diagram over there is misleading, letus draw our own diagram showing PROPER angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 : Isn't AD=CD here ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah, !! The diagram is over misleading!!! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But it is AD > CD for the answer right?? ahahha

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yeah, they made the diagram misleading on purpose, so that we figure out the solution using known theorems. the question says, the diagram is not to scale!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well that's dumb... hah! I still wonder where in life I'll use this..... NO WHERE! lol Thank ya!!!
