Does mitosis more closely resemble meiosis I or meiosis II? And can you explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mitosis is similar to meiosis I as only cell division takes place in both processess without any change in chromesome number i.e, in both processess diploid daughter cells are formed whereas in meiosis II chromosome number changes and haploid daughter cells are produced.
