This question belongs in the math group. But still, I'll help you because it's pretty straightforward. What are you looking for when you're trying to find the roots of an equation like this? You're looking for values of 'x' which make 'y' zero. i.e. find x such that y=0. If you follow the curve, you'll find that it hits the y=0 mark at 2 points. Find the values of 'x' at these points & you have your roots.
