Question

Physics of wheelie and stoppie.

I don't understand why for wheelie to happen the power must always be given to the back tires.. why won't weelie work if power was for the front tires.. i mean i know once the front goes up.. no longer power.. so atleast it must work for 4 wheel drive.. and what about stoppiee?? why stopie only when put front breaks?? i mean the torques would be created about the respective axes as long as we have those accelerations and that does not depend on whether its the front wheel or back wheel right?
