I have 40 minutes to answer 9 questions please help me! (and don't say draw it out, for it is super hard for me) See the attached!!
We can't do the work for you. You need to show your effort and we can certainly help you. It's against the code of conduct for anyone to just give you the answers. How have you approached the question, and where are you stuck? Remember, you're looking for the formula in the form \(y = mx+b\). Do you know what \(m\) and \(b\) represent?
I've had such a hard time. it represents 0 and 3, no?
\(b\) is your y-intercept. So, when \(x = 0\), what is the value of \(y\)? \(m\) is your slope, rise/run. What is your change in y-value over your change in x-value between the two points? Remember, you're going from (0,0) to (3,3).
Uh. Would it be C?
No, it's not C. \(b\) is fairly easy to get in this question, since you're given the point when \(x = 0\). The point is (0,0), so when \(x = 0, y = 0\). Therefore, \(b = 0\).
Between the two points, what is your change in y [from (0,0) to (3,3)]?
I'm a girl.. Hah. :/
Sorry. Took a look at the avatar and guessed, but it's small so I can't really tell. My bad. Thank you, @bloodrain. That site is way better! :)
So, @e.g.1, do you know how the change in rise (\(y\)) over change in run (\(x\)) gives you slope?
