oh... well just find the area of all the surfaces on the house. and add them up.

yeah but i got this:

(40*2) + (32+2) + (20*2) + (24*2) = 232

both sides of the roof would be 40 + 40
both sides of the tent would be 32 + 32
front and back would be 24 + 24
and both triangular parts would be 20 + 20

Here is what I did:\[(40 * 2) + (32 * 2) + (8*6) + (24 * 2) + (4*6) = 264\]

first one is roof, second one is the sides, third one is the bottom or floor, fourth is the front and back, and the last one is the triangular roof support things.
