by factoring:x(x-6)=0
x=0 or x-6=0,x=6

by completing the square:
x^2-6x+(-6/2)^2=(-6/2)^2
x^2-6x+(-6/2)^2=9
(x-3)^2=9
x-3=3 ,x=6
or x-3=-3,x=0
