i am taking duel enrollment soon and am looking into becoming a mental health counselor but was wondering if anyone knew what classes are required or that are in my best interest to take in both college and duel enrollment to get there like what math classes, science classes and the basics i will need later.
I think it depends on your college. If you're going into mental health counseling, is it safe for us to assume that you'll major in Psychology, in college? Every college major has its own list of classes that you have to take, in order to get that major. Are you in America?
yes and yes =)
Okay. Well, if you're majoring in Psychology, then you get to chose whether you want a Bachelor of the Arts (B.A.), or a Bachelor of the Sciences (B.S.). If you choose to complete a B.A. in Psychology, then you'll probably end up having to take more English, History, and Humanities classes. On the other hand, if you're going for a B.S. in Psychology, your college will probably require you to take more science classes, like Biology and Chemistry. I'm pretty sure that every college has its own list of class requirements, for a specific major, and degree type (B.A. or B.S.). A lot of colleges have orientation days for new students, so that they can find out which classes they would have to take, to complete their majors. So, you could try to find out then.
