Can someone explain this to me in a way I can UNDERSTAND it.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

180(n - 2)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

is the sum of interior angles in a regular polygon

OpenStudy (aripotta):

n = the number of angles

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

AriPotta's formula is correct. It'll give the sum of the measures of all 6 angles. Since you know that the measure of one angle is 3x, then you need to divide the sum of measures of the angles by 6 then set it equal to 3x. Then you can solve for x.

@KatieMO if you're having trouble understanding, you should let people know where you're having the trouble. the best way to do that is to show what you've tried or how you've approached it

@Mathmuse I said that I didn't understnad any of it. thank you tough!
