2 d+4=8

OpenStudy (lilg132):

is that supposed to be 2d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 4 from both sides u get 2d=4 divide 2 from both sidde you get d = 2

OpenStudy (lilg132):

2d + 4 = 8 you need to bring the letters to one side and numbers on the other remember when bringing something to the other side changes its value to the opposite e.g. if you bring +4 to the other side it will change to -4 so 2d = 8 - 4 which gives you 2d = 4 now to get the value of d we need to get d alone to get d alone we need to get rid of the 2 and to do that we need to divide both sides by 2 giving you 2d/2 = 4/2 which is d = 2

4f+1-2=5

OpenStudy (lilg132):

4f = 5 - 1 + 2 4f = 6 4f/4 = 6/4 f = 1.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify it to 4f-1=5 add 1 to both sides you get 4f=6 dvide 4 from both sides you get f = 1.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-4k=12

OpenStudy (lilg132):

-12 / 4 is your answer

-3n-2=4
