do you know the formula and solve for hypotenuse of the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a2+b2=c2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the pythagorean formula is h^2=x^2+y^2 here since it is a square they have equal sides, therefore x=45 also y=45 h^2=x^2+y^2 h^2=(45)^2+(45)^2 can you find h?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt ask for h?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes your correct also its is known as h^2=x^2+y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im correct on wat lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes h= hypotenuse=the largest of all sides of the right triangle in this problem they use x as what you have to find. so you have to use x^2=h^2 =(x side)^2 + (y side )^2 therefore x___?
