I'm not good with exponents, I got -24a to the sixth power but my teacher said its wrong. Please tell me what I did wrong. The equation is 4a(3rd power) times (-6a)third power. All I know is that it has to do with the parentheses.

4a^3 *(-6a)^3 your mistake was on the (-6a)^3 this is equal to [(-6)^3]*[a^3] so the answer should be -864a^6
