If two angles do not add to 180°, then they are not supplementary. would this be converse, inverse or contrapositive

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, comp angles are 90 ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how about we guide them to an answer instead of just handing it over to them ... etal (so i aint got to send each of you a warning)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and it looks like the question was edited with new info

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hmm; it looks like: if p then q, was swapped to, if -q then -p

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but i cant really be sure since i dont really know what the pq part was to begin with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is my problem, I don't understand I guess the meaning of all 3 of those. I have never felt so lost in a class.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, in general; when given a statement: if p then q, there are 3 fundamental transformations: inv: if -p then -q conv: if q then p contraP: if -q then -p but without knowing the original pq setup, its hard to say which one it is

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im sure the original pq is a thrm in geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for your help.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome, if you can determine the original setup; i would be able to tell if you get the write answer :) good luck
