Part 1: Find the perimeter of a rectangular object which has a length of square root of 128 feet and a width of square root of 200 feet. (3 points) Part 2: Explain, in complete sentences, how you arrived at the answer and give the final solution in simplified radical form. (2 points) Part 3: What type of object in your home or school might this be? (1 point)
P = 2L + 2W Start by multiplying your values for each by 2 and then add them. What do you have so far?
Hint: Your final answer will be an integer multiplied by the square root of a small number.
Part of what you will have to do is to simplify sqrt(128) and sqrt(200). Can you simplify those? If not, can you factor the numbers within the sqrt?
Can you get at least one factor for 128 and one factor for 200?
Is it that you don't know where to start with this problem?
no....
Okay, can you find any factors for 128?
nevermin i figured it out thanks that makes sense!
ok
