OpenStudy (anonymous):

A and B, b/c they dont have a common ratio.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay :) and what are C and D's common ratios?? C=divided by 2 right?? D=x 5 right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, the common ratio of C is 0.5 or 1/2 the common ratio of D is 5 or 5/1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh oaky i see :) but my answers are A and B then!! :D thanks for the help!!!

Np.

A and B are not geometric because there is no factor that generates the next term. In A, we have 1^2, 2^2, 3^3, 4^2, ... B is the Fibonacci sequence where each term at position 3 and onward is gotten by adding the two previous terms. C is ok because each is multiplied by 1/2 D is ok. Multiplied each one by 5 to get the next one.
