Circuit question (Picture attached)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the net resistance? 40 ohms?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when it asks for A it means current

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, the net resistance is 40 ohm Are you able to simplify the circuit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Shadowys I think I solved it, please check my work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup, i think it's all right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for parallel resistance R3/4=8(8)/(8+8)=4 ohm therefore Rt=R1+R2+R3/4 =? total i=It=Vt/Rt=120/Rt=? A1=It(R1)=? A2=It(R2)=? V1=It(R1)=? V2=It(R2)=? for V3/4=It(R3/4)=It(4)=? A3=V3/4/R3=? A4=V3/4/R4=? notify me if you need more help ....:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ ConfusedAboutCalculus good luck n let me know... :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u r right.... @confusted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah oki i have just seen your work, your ok there except that 108V? i think it shoul be also 12V .....:D
