combine like terms and simplify and i have to show the work please help:
-4x^2 - 2 + 7x + 16x^2 - 8 x

first put the x^2s together and the x's together
-4x^2+16x^2+7x-8x-2
now add the x^2s together
12x^2+7x-8x-2
now add the x's together
12x^2-x-2
