How does the graph of f(x)= -x2+1 compare to that of g(x)= x^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both graphs are parabolas, but since f(x) is -x^2, it will be oriented downward (like an upside down U) and the y-intercept will be at the point (0,1) because of the +1. g(x) is oriented upward, like a U, and it's y-intercept is at the origin (0,0).
