f(x,y)=4x^2y + 4ln(xy) evaluate partial derivative of y at (x,y)=(1,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 16 wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got the partial derivative of y as 8xy + 4/y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It should be 8x^2 + 4/y because the 8x^2 is treated as a constant and doesn't change.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooops. I meant 4x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):
