Women could be taxed, but they could not vote. Women could be arrested, but they could not serve on a jury. What are these examples of?

A lack of rights for women; in your class there may be a particular phrase that your teacher uses, and I don't know that phrase. But like I said, it shows how women are expected to abide by federal law, but can not participate: lack of rights.
