depends on the brand
some of them you have to type 39 in, followed by pressing the SIN button
others you have to first press SIN, followed by the angle you want to evaluate (ie 39)

oh ok i found it. had to press 2nd would the answer be 9.34 if rounding to the second decimal?

no unfortunately

you are in RAD mode, which evaluates angles in radian measure. you need to make sure your in DEG if you are doing angle in degrees
