How do i find a zero with the given one in a polynomial function?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you can divide out the zero factor that you know about

OpenStudy (amistre64):

this reduces the poly by a degree that might be simpler to resolve

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Also, if you have REAL Coefficients and the one you are given is Complex, you can use the given zero and its conjugate as a pair of zeros.
