A train leaves the station heading west on the tracks. It takes the train 8 seconds to reach 80 miles per hour. It completes the entire 160 mile trip in two hours. Calculate the train's average speed and velocity over the two hour trip. Show your work. Identify if Each of the measurements are a scalar or vector quantity.

Well the first thing that needs to happen is you need to find the speed of the train. How do we do that? Do you know?

no

So it takes 8 seconds to reach 80 miles an hour, that's an increase of 10 mph a second. So, if it takes 8 seconds to reach 80 mph and you can travel 1 mile in 60 minutes then how long will it take to go 160 at 180?

give me the answer please
