Write a polynomial function in standard form with the given zeros. x= 1,1,2 Steps please?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Pull the factored form of the polynomial out of the air! You should have a theorem that states something like this: If 'a' is a zero of a polynomial, then (x-a) is a factor of that polynomial. So, using this theorem, you have zeros 1, 1, and 2. What are the three factors associated with these three zeros?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-1)(x-1)(x-2)?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Right on target! You're almost done. There is multiplication in your future!
