How would this be simplified?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 24y^8 }{ 15x^5 } \div \frac{ 8y^4 }{ 4x^2 }\]

OpenStudy (goten77):

hmm ima draw this 1 out again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this confuses me bc if i cross multiply they have diff variables

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (goten77):

2 variables doesnt really mean much but since its division you can flip the 2nd term... ever heard of dont change flip and multiply? so we get this then |dw:1354398597575:dw|
