I took a year of C++ in high school, and am fairly familiar with Python/various other languages. Should I just move on to 6.01?

I would say at least take a quick skim over the content and review some of the assignments. If it all looks familiar and you think you can do it all then you probably can move on. With that said, 'practice makes perfect', as they say. So, going through the course could only help improve your skills.

Thanks, I feel like since the course isn't "about" Python, there's still something I can gain from it. Additionally, I'm a bit rusty with any sort of programming. I think I'll just go through the lectures and assignments before I move on.

Just adding an agreement to msmithnova. I actually ran my own sites for 10+ years doing all my own coding and server work, I am learning a lot here and very grateful for these being offered.
