Some cells have several nuclei within the cytoplasm. Considering the events in a typical cell cycle, which phase of the cell cycle is not operating when such cells form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The phase in question is cytokinesis: after mitosis is complete the cleavage furrow forms between the two nuclei and the cells move apart. It is worth noting that cytokinesis is part of cell division but not part of mitosis, which ends with telophase. The question is correct in asking which "phase of the cell cycle" rather than which part of mitosis.
