*~*PLEASE HELP*~* Explain, in complete sentences, how you would use the graphing method to solve the following system of equations x + 4y = –16 3x + 2y = 12 I would like an explanation more than just an answer

First you need to know what the solution of this type of system (set of equations) is. It is the places where both lines meet. Now this would be easy with a graphing calculation you would just need to put these equations in to Y-intercept form and graph them ..and then calculate the intersect ..which is the solution. The first equation if you rearrange it ...is y= -1/4x-4
