Where do I go from here in this "finding what x and y are in a square" problem?

x + 1 = 3y & 3x = 5y + 5 in the first equation subtract 1 from both sides you'll get, x = 3y - 1 then substitute by x in the second equation you'l get the value of Y Once you get Y susbstitute in any of the main 2 equations to get x
