What are the real or imaginary solutions of the polynomial equation? x^3 = 216

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got to the point where I have my real solution, 6, and I have a,b, and c and I put it into the quadratic equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I have -6 +/- sqrt-108/2 as my quadratic equation but I don't know what to do next, someone please help!

6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, That's my real solution, But I need the imaginary ones too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 6 or x+3 = 3 i sqrt(3) or x+3 = -3 i sqrt(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Possible answers: –6, 3 + 3i sqrt7, and 3 – 3i sqrt7 –6, 3 + 3i sqrt3, and 3 – 3i sqrt3 6, 3 + 3i, sqrt7 and 3 – 3i sqrt7 6, –3 + 3i sqrt3, and –3 – 3i sqrt3

the third one

But I want to know how to get it! This is what I have|dw:1354565479902:dw| What now?
