xy=30 3x-y=-9

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

??? Ok...

OpenStudy (lacypennelll):

hmm

OpenStudy (lacypennelll):

if i solve it can i explain to you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

First equation: xy = 30 -> x = 30/y --> 1 the second equation is: 3x-y=-9 now substitute x with 1: 3(30/y) - y = -9 and solve. for y. Then take the y-values and solve for x
