Explain how you would graph y = ½ x – 3.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the slope is 1/2 and the y intercept is (0, -3) so start at (0, -3) and go up one unit, then to the right 2 units to get the next point (2, -2) now plot the two points (0, -3) and (2, -2) then finally, draw a straight line through them to graph y = 1/2x - 3

thank youu
