Hey! I'm doing homework and I'm really confused. What overall role does the Pancreas have in the Digestive System? How it individually works?(Seventh grade- it's 8:24 and I need an answer by 10:45)

Question

look up what the pancreas does, or read it in your book

My teacher didn't let anyone take the book home, she said the responses were too long. The answers I'm getting online are also too long.
